Team India prepares for WorldSkills 2026 as nearly 1,400 competitors from close to 70 countries converge on Shanghai

The Indian contingent was recently encouraged during an interaction at Kaushal Bhawan in New Delhi, marking an important moment before the young competitors head towards one of the world’s major platforms for vocational skills.
What awaits them in Shanghai is a competition involving approximately 1,400 participants from nearly 70 countries, putting India’s young talent in direct competition with skilled competitors from across the globe.
