Angul ,GTNS/September, 09/26 : Union Minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan has arrived in Angul for a three-day visit, with a packed schedule focused on reviewing development activities and engaging with officials and local stakeholders.
Following his arrival, Pradhan received a warm welcome from representatives of the district administration, NALCO officials and BJP workers.
During his stay, the Union Minister is scheduled to participate in several important review meetings. These include the RPDC meeting of MCL, the District Mineral Foundation meeting and the DISHA meeting, where various development programmes and ongoing projects in the district are expected to be discussed.
The meetings will provide an opportunity to assess the progress of projects and examine issues linked to development, mining-related activities and the utilisation of district resources.
Pradhan is also scheduled to inaugurate several facilities during the visit. These include an Audit Office facility and a 100-bed hostel at a Polytechnic College, aimed at strengthening local institutional infrastructure.
His visit comes with a focus on monitoring development work at the ground level and reviewing the implementation of programmes in one of Odisha’s major industrial and mineral-rich districts.
Officials and local representatives are expected to present updates on ongoing projects, while issues requiring attention may also come up during the scheduled meetings.
The three-day programme is therefore set to combine administrative reviews, development-related discussions and inauguration of public facilities.
With multiple review meetings and infrastructure projects on the agenda, Dharmendra Pradhan’s Angul visit is expected to put the spotlight on development, mining-linked issues and public infrastructure in the district.
