SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 , BHUBANESWAR: A new literary work titled “Uthiba Ki Jatira Kankala” was formally released at Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, bringing together prominent public representatives, writers, academics and literary enthusiasts for a programme organised by Bishwamukti.
The book was released in the presence of Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, who unveiled the work during the literary gathering.
The programme brought together personalities from Odisha’s political, academic and literary spheres, highlighting the continuing connection between contemporary social issues and Odia literary expression.
Among those present at the event were Suryabanshi Suraj, Minister for Higher Education, Sports and Youth Affairs, and Odia Language, Literature and Culture; Prithiviraj Harichandan, Law Minister; and Babu Singh, MLA from Ekamra.
The gathering was also attended by noted writer and academic Professor Biswaranjan, writer and orator Professor Archana Nayak, and Professor Shashanka Chudamani, founder-editor of the Bishwamukti magazine. Friends, family members and well-wishers of the author also participated in the book-release programme.
