Hyderabad, GTNS. September 08/26 : A medical emergency at the Telangana Assembly premises turned the spotlight on the importance of immediate action after a government staff member suddenly collapsed on the campus.
Raju, who serves as the personal secretary to senior IAS officer Naveen Mittal, reportedly became unresponsive while at the Assembly. The situation prompted an immediate response from those nearby, including Telangana Minister Vakiti Srihari.
The minister stepped forward and performed CPR on Raju before medical personnel took over the emergency response. Medical staff continued providing assistance at the spot as preparations were made to shift the patient for specialised treatment.
Raju was subsequently taken to a hospital in an ambulance for further medical care. His condition and the circumstances surrounding the medical episode were being monitored.
The incident underlined how a rapid response in the critical moments following a sudden collapse can be vital.
