Bhubaneswar, GTNS, September 08/26 : LPG consumers have received an important update regarding the booking of domestic cooking gas cylinders. Under the revised booking system, customers will no longer have to wait for 45 days before placing another booking.According to the new arrangement, consumers can now book their next LPG cylinder after a gap of 25 days. The revised rule came into effect from September 7 and applies to consumers in both urban and rural areas.The change is expected to provide greater flexibility to households that require an LPG refill more frequently. Previously, consumers had to maintain a longer gap between successive bookings, which could create difficulties for families with higher cooking-gas consumption.With the reduced waiting period, customers will have the option to place a fresh booking once the 25-day interval is completed. The move is also expected to make the refill process more convenient for households across different regions.Consumers are advised to follow the booking procedures prescribed by their respective LPG distributors and check the applicable conditions before placing a new order.The revised timeline marks a significant change in the domestic LPG refill system and is expected to directly affect millions of household consumers.
