NEW DELHI — GTNS, SEPTEMBER 10, 2026 — Brazil’s Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira has arrived in New Delhi to participate in the 18th BRICS Summit, adding further momentum to the high-level diplomatic engagements surrounding India’s BRICS chairship.
Vieira’s arrival underlines the importance Brazil attaches to its partnership with India and to the wider BRICS platform as a forum for cooperation among emerging economies.
India and Brazil share longstanding diplomatic ties and have worked closely on issues concerning economic cooperation, sustainable development, multilateralism, trade and the interests of the Global South.
