NEW DELHI , GTNS/September, 09/26 : The upcoming Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2026 is being positioned as a major global business platform for the rice and allied industries, with organisers looking to build on the strong international response witnessed during the previous edition.
The 2025 conference brought together 154 exhibitors and more than 1,083 international buyers, with participation extending across 90-plus countries. Export commitments announced during the event were valued at approximately USD 3.02 billion.
With the 2026 edition, organisers are aiming to expand the scale of international trade and create additional opportunities for businesses across the rice value chain.
The event is expected to provide a common platform for exporters, rice millers, machinery manufacturers, logistics companies and other industry stakeholders to connect with global buyers and explore new commercial partnerships.
For companies operating in the sector, exhibition space is being promoted as an opportunity to showcase products, technologies and services directly to an international business audience.
BIRC 2026 will be held on October 23, 24 and 25 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The event is expected to attract industry representatives from India and overseas, strengthening New Delhi’s position as a venue for large-scale international business engagement.
The conference comes at a time when India’s agricultural exports and food-processing ecosystem are seeking greater access to global markets.
