Prithviraj Harichandan Meets Residents of Panidwar, Reviews Local Issues

Minister interacts directly with villagers during constituency visit; assures attention to public grievances and development concerns

GTNS, September 27, 2026 , BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Minister Prithviraj Harichandan visited Panidwar village under Jaripada Gram Panchayat during his constituency tour and held a direct interaction with local residents.

During the visit, the Minister listened to residents about issues concerning the village as well as individual grievances brought before him. The interaction provided villagers an opportunity to directly place their concerns and requirements before their elected representative.

Several issues concerning the wider community were discussed during the meeting. Residents also brought individual matters to the Minister’s notice, seeking appropriate intervention and early resolution.

Harichandan subsequently discussed the issues raised by the villagers with the concerned officials, with a focus on taking necessary steps for their early resolution. The interaction also covered the need for coordination between the public representatives and the concerned administrative authorities in addressing local concerns.

The Minister’s visit was centred on direct communication with residents and understanding issues at the grassroots level. Rather than relying only on administrative reports, the interaction allowed local people to present their concerns directly.

Speaking about his approach to public service, Harichandan said that he remains committed to serving the people and working towards the overall development of villages.

He also emphasised the importance of addressing people’s concerns and maintaining coordination with the concerned departments so that issues raised by residents can be taken up through the appropriate administrative channels.

The Panidwar visit was part of Harichandan’s constituency outreach, bringing the Minister directly in contact with residents and providing an opportunity to review local concerns at the village level.
